Attracting Investment

The Park will be one of London's most important regeneration projects over the next 25 years. This is a rare opportunity for economic and social regeneration in a major global city that will transform a huge urban area.

The Olympic legacy in east London therefore presents unprecedented investment opportunities - to create a new metropolitan area of the capital and a unique, a 'must see, must return' destination for London's people and visitors.

With new local, national and international transport links, five world-class sports venues and new open space, the Park will become a key economic catalyst, harnessing the existing creative energy of the Lower Lee Valley, with the potential to generate thousands of jobs.

Planning for investment

Private sector partners will be essential to the delivery of the the proposals set out in the Legacy Masterplan Framework (LMF) that will guide the long-term development of the Park after the Games.

Our role is to ensure that all the options are considered. We will plan carefully for the future so that the public sector works effectively with the private and third sectors to jointly deliver a sustainable future for the Park. This includes considering options for the future of the Olympic Stadium as well as for the Press Centre and Broadcast Centre.

Seizing the opportunity

The transformation of the Olympic Park and its role in contributing to the regeneration of east London will require a network of partnerships, new public funding commitments and the infusion and leveraging of private resources.

We are interested in speaking with potential investors at these early stages. If you would like to discuss potential ideas with us contact info@legacycompany.co.uk
